WOW, what a clever result, Alec, This is one of those unique ramp owls that I have heard so much about. Great eye for this one.

    Alec,
I like the geometry of this photograph - it provides a nice contrast to the more organic photos that we have seen before, hence Cityscape vs landscape. There seems to be more detail beyond the surface that I would like to see in a big print. When is the opening? Nice work.

Alec, these images are wonderful. I'd really like to see the original scene as it actually was, just so I can see what you saw when you were inspired. It would help me to expand my vision, to see what is possible under different circumstances. You are clearly seeing potential in places where I am not -- and doing a very good job of it!

    Hey Kevin,

Well, with your push on this I've moved forward on your request. The next images this coming week will be include a video tutorial of the technique, what I saw, etc. Can't wait to get this out there.

    Cheers,
    Alec

    Hi Alec-

I'm thrilled to hear that you are going to show us the original picture and more importantly how you came to this vision. For a rookie like me, it is helpful to see what you started from to truly appreciate this piece. It is amazing to me to know that this was originally a stairwell. I can see the owl. Your creativity is awesome!

    Hey Megan,

I'm going to present another image, with a full background on how and why. I shot it this past weekend, with video. Once its produced you'll have a better sense of what I saw, and more important, an opportunity to respond with "I might have done this different." Taking this method, tool, and incorporating your own voice into it, or using it to develop your own voice perhaps.

    cheers,
    Alec
