Looks like an angel. How do I know it is a female? Look at those long eyelashes. She is being very coy. I like the way the flowers have come out, being blurred at the bottom, ending up more in focus at the top.

    It is great to experiment.

Alec, I really appreciate your video instructional tour of Photoshop. The technology is moving forward, and to deny that computer skills are essential for good photography is to deny reality. Many of us have spent years trying to become good photographers. Now it has become more complicated due to this additional variable -- competence at working with photos on the computer Taking a good picture is no longer good enough. Even talented photographers may have a lot of catching up to do with the new technology. In the end, it is what will separate the good from the great. That is what makes your video tutorials so important. Thank you.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks so much. To you and everyone I made a decision this morning I feel really good about making. I've decided to leave the Photoshop basics in the hands of someone that has already developed the most amazing content around. My mentor and good friend, Mark S. Johnson. Accoridnglingly, I've linked my Photoshop Basics area to Mark's Photoshop 101 series of tutorials. He and I are working together to create new content so the tide rises for all. Please visit the link I've given in C R E A T E.

The other content areas will remain the domain of my creation, are closer to what I need/want to do, and in so much as I have anything to offer, this maximizes the possiblity of creating value for everyone.

Thanks for being here and for the encouragement, Kevin.
